Hi there! I’m Lauren, Your Local Dope Hair Dealer, and I’m the owner of Monarch Studio where we do dope hair daily. I specialize in vivids and blonding on dark hair (but I work on natural hair of all shades)! Low to high maintenance blonde, I’ve got you covered.

A little about me? I’m a Bay Area native, born in San Jose and grew up in the Peninsula. I’ve always been more artistic and originally went to college for fashion design. Life eventually brought me back to San Jose where I enrolled at Paul Mitchell and I quickly fell in love with hair.

Since graduating, continuing my education has always been a huge priority. I’ve traveled throughout the state to learn from the industry’s top educators to ensure that I’m always bringing the newest trends to my chair.

I have been an independent business owner for most of my career and worked booth rent before opening Monarch Studio in October 2020. My goal in opening Monarch was to create a space for my clients to feel comfortable, be themselves, and feel like they’re sitting with a friend while they get their hair done. Whether you’re getting a vivid transformation, a root touch up, or just a haircut, my goal as your stylist is to make you look and feel your best.
